Starting position:

A well-established medium-sized machine tool manufacturer, known for its products of extreme precision and reliability as well as utmost performance features planned the development of a new machine series. In order to place that machine series effectively on the market and to implement the necessary components first of all Techniciency was engaged in the concept phase with an extensive market- and industry analysis.

• Visit of relevant trade fairs and evaluation of appropriate market data
• Formulation of working documents including concrete recommendations for action

Basing on the analysis we accompanied the development of the machine series until the prototype with following core issues:

• Time planning and capacity planning
• Participation in the development of technical specifications for the machines including their options
• Valuation of possible cinematic principles
• Support in determination of the target costs
• Development and valuation of a platform concept
• Support in the development of requirement specifications for components
• Support in standardization of components
• Moderation of project reviews
• Participation in coordination with the purchase department and important suppliers
• Accompanying target costing
• Monitoring of the assembly of the prototypes including detailed measures for optimization

Due to organizational circumstances Techniciency was brought on board, in order to contribute objectively in the constructive and organizational machine series development.

Starting position:

A German system supplier for case technology and control cabinet technology would analyze customer requirements and customer wishes for a forthcoming development of a new product in order to consider these concrete information in the development.
Because of its neutrality and technical solidarity Techniciency was allowed to perform extensive analysis and surveys by means of an QFD-Analysis, which guaranteed to develop an product the customer‘s really needs.
